Your Day Trust’s Spring Wedding Show 2008 ,held at the Hotel Grand Chancellor on Sunday 21 September. It was a was a huge success. A beautiful Sunday brought hundreds of people contemplating getting married from 10.00 am.

The carefully selected wedding professionals created a ’bridal shopping mall’ under one roof, inspiring with ideas and expert advise, also enabling to plan the entire wedding.

Couples were able to preview a stunning selection of Canterbury’s award winning bridal fashion houses featuring the latest designs for the bride, groom and the rest of the wedding entourage. These include Brides of Merivale, Robyn Cliffe Couturier, Louise Anderson Bridal Designs, Avon Bridal.
This year’s catwalk will also include the latest sumptuous- seductive from lingerie and swimwear for your honeymoon.

Ali Jones from Newstalk ZB hosted the first half of the Spring Wedding Fashion Show at 11.30 am and the at 2.30pm.

The Trust sincerely thanks the Hotel Grand Chancellor- what a venue! Also Crown Limousines, Radio Network, Lush Florists, Fuchsia Flowers, Alta Hair Designs, and makeup artist including Tracy Beat Beauty, Angela Minson Makeup,Selina Nunn, Sheer Bliss beauty and Mary Kay Cosmetics. Also co -coordinators, Gillian Melhop and Rodney Lingham.

$6,000 was raised for Child Helpline and the Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind.
